Children should be told, in language they can understand, what is happening, what information may be recorded and who they can speak to if something feels wrong.
BTA asks you to try some activities so adults can understand more about how you like to learn, explore and solve problems. This is not a school test and there is no pass or fail.
Your parent may write down what they notice. Photos, sound or video should only be used when the right permission has been given. You can tell your parent or the BTA team if you feel uncomfortable or want to stop.
Only people who need the information for the pilot should see it. BTA should explain things clearly, keep information safe and listen when you or your parent asks a question.
You can ask what BTA knows about you, ask for something incorrect to be fixed, or ask your parent to contact BTA about deletion.
