Families, children, schools and partners should be able to raise a concern without affecting how they are treated.
Routine concerns can be sent to info@britishtalentacademy.co.uk with the subject ‘Complaint or Concern’. Please include the minimum information needed to identify the issue and avoid sending sensitive child media by ordinary email.
BTA should acknowledge the concern, identify who is responsible for reviewing it, explain any immediate protective action and provide an outcome or progress update within the timeframe stated in the pilot information.
Privacy complaints may also be raised with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Safeguarding concerns may need referral to a school safeguarding lead, local authority, police or emergency service depending on urgency.
Raising a concern will not remove a participant’s right to withdraw, request data access or ask for deletion. Pilot complaints and learning will be reviewed to improve the service.
