BTA is designing the pilot around data minimisation, transparent consent, controlled access, secure handling and clear data-rights routes.
During application and pilot delivery BTA may process parent contact information, child profile and developmental context, structured observations, activity responses and, only where separately permitted, images, audio or video.
Information is used to administer participation, support specialist review, build the Talent & Learning Profile, communicate with the family and evaluate the pre-pilot methodology. BTA does not present pilot data as a diagnostic record.
Access is limited according to role. Parents can ask what information is held, request correction, raise an objection, withdraw optional media consent or request deletion subject to applicable legal and safeguarding obligations.
Detailed controller identity, lawful bases, processors, international transfers and retention schedules will be provided in the participant privacy information before pilot consent. Data-rights enquiries can be sent to info@britishtalentacademy.co.uk.
